What is Pre-order?

If an item is marked as Pre-order in blue then we have an availability date but it has not arrived in our warehouse. You can order these items and we will reserve the stock for you. We strongly recommend placing pre-order items on a separate order. If a Pre-order item is added to an order with immediately available items we will create a second Pre-order, this will have a new order number. If the available items have a value over £250 (ex VAT) we will ship these immediately and inform you when your Pre-order items are available. If an item is marked out of stock, we do not yet have an availability date.

Please note that split shipments are invoiced separately based on the delivery date to you. It is for this reason we suggest creating a second order for Pre-order items.

Available in two sizes (1 Mug / 3 Tazze / 350ml and 3 Mug / 8 Tazze / 1L), it's perfect for both individual enjoyment and sharing with friends. The French Press brewing method allows for a rich, full-bodied coffee, and this stylish design makes it a standout piece. Please note that the generic cup size used to describe cafetieres is tasse sizing which is a small cup. We describe mug sizes based on a 325ml serve.

FAQs

We do not sell spare glass beakers however all glass cafetiere beakers are standard sizes so you can purchase any 3 cup / 350ml or 8 cup / 1L glass beaker and it should fit the cafetiere frame. On rare occasions glass does not fit and this is due to the general tolerances in glass. You should never force the glass beaker into the frame.

The beaker is made of thermoshock resistant borosilicate glass.

You should always wash your cafetiere by hand. You should soak the filter in warm soapy water or use a coffee cleaner to remove the coffee oils that can build up. By doing this you will ensure that you have a fresh tasting cup without any flavour or aroma of older coffee.

Every Bialetti X Dolce&Gabbana Cafetiere is made by hand using a water transfer process. This means that although the general design is the same no two pieces are exactly the same so you will own something truly unique.

This very much depends on how often you use the cafetiere. You do not need to replace it until you see any wear and tear which is typically the metal filter fraying. This may not happen for many years. If you do need to replace the metal filter you can purchase any generic 3 cup or 8 cup metal filter.
